L066 with L147?
I currently have four L66 in a 55 gallon bare bottom tank with some guppies. Filtration is a AC110 and a powerhead for water movement on one end. Temp is 80. I have a pair of L147 which I was wondering if could go in the 55 with the king tigers? Best setup if putting these two types together? I have ...

Re: I got caught up in the "oh, aw" game
With my BN spawning no problem and my king tigers not, I figured I was doing something wrong with them. Patience is the key, after reading your replies. Thanks muchly for your answers.

I got caught up in the "oh, aw" game
With more plecos available out there, I found it was so easy to get caught up in the oh, aw, game. You know, oh.... I love L066s .... aw, what about these L134s .... and so forth. It is so easy to buy but I'm going to have to get smart and ask questions on what would be suited for my specific water ...

Re: Easy to breed ~ easy to sell?
It wasn't so much getting easy money, it was who was easy to breed. What is a pleco that you don't have to play around with water like PH or adding black water extract etc... Is Hypancistrus the next one to step to or Peckoltia? Thank you all very much for taking to time to give me your opinions. It ...

Easy to breed ~ easy to sell?
I currently have BN plecos and king tigers. Had numerous spawns from the BN, have not had any from the king tigers. Is there such a thing as a really easy breeder like the BN and something that is a bit more "rare" (excluding really $$$ plecos like the zebra. lol)? I was looking at the snowball ...

Hypancistrus easy to breed?
I've had success with breeding BN plecos and would like to try something else too. I saw some Hypancistrus, specifically the snowball pleco. How easy are they to breed, and are any of the hypancistrus easier than others to achieve spawning and fry?
Thanks.

Re: Are my water params okay for L066?
Thank you to you all for the replies. I feel better, I didn't really want to start fiddling around with the PH. I guess the main thing is when getting them to acclimate slowly? I believe they are in a PH of 7, so will be a jump up of .6 to my water params.

Are my water params okay for L066?
I have a few tanks which could house some L066. My water params are PH is 7.6, Alk is 70 mg/L, Hardness is 80 mg/L. I have a 90 gallon planted with livebearers, rummynose tetras, spixi snails, and currently a male and female BN pleco, filtration is a AC 110 and a XP3. A 33 gallon bare bottom tank ...

70 BN pleco fry in a 29?
I have approximately 70+ calico BN pleco fry in a bare bottom 29 gallon, sponge filter. They are roughly 1 1/4" in size, and are 1 1/2 months. When should I be moving them to a larger tank and what size tank would be a good size for them, 33 gallon, 55 gallon? I am doing daily water changes, feed ...

ID and sex these cories, please?
I have these two cories who were just moved from another tank to this one with the black eco substrate. They look totally different against this color than when they were in a bare bottom tank. I'd love to know what kind they are and hopefully, the sex? And how easy are they for spawning, same as ...

What sort of offspring will I get with these as parents?
I'm looking at some fry whose parents were a Red Marble male and Albino female as well as more fry from a Red Marble male and Brown female (all Long fin). These fry are dark brown to black with white spots. Any idea what I will get for offspring from these fry if bred to each other? Trying to learn ...
