| Identification | Mature males and sometimes females have soft tentacles (bushy fleshy growths) on the snout - this is unique to the genus Ancistrus. A hybrid produced to prove that congeners will hybridise. This hybrid is not available for sale, see Shane's World article link below for further details. |
